Noted film critics Nell Minow, Mack Bates and A.J. Hakari discuss this year’s Golden Globe nominations and make predictions about the upcoming 2013 Oscar nominations. Will this year’s races for the gold be won by 12 Years a Slave, American Hustle or Gravity, the three favorites? Or will underdogs like Her and Saving Mr. Banks be the spoilers? Listen to these savvy critics reveal their informative and entertaining reactions concerning Hollywood's biggest award events.

Nell, the famous Movie Mom, writes commentary for Beliefnet.com and is the author of The Movie Mom’s Guide to Family Entertainment plus many other film-related books. She’s been featured in such publications as USA Today and The New York Times. A.J., aka the Mad Movie Man, contributes film reviews to sites like Classic Movie Guide, Review Express, Terror Tube,  ReelTalk Movie Reviews and his own popular blog Cineslice. Mack writes freelance articles for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and serves as a staff blogger for Milwaukee Magazine’s official film blog. He recently received a local Emmy for his work on the The Robert and Rosie Show, one of the projects he worked on with Kyle Olson for the Milwaukee Summer Entertainment Camp.

This year’s Golden Globe winners receive their awards on January 12, and the Oscar nominations will be announced on January 16. But movie fans have to wait until March 2 to find out the Oscar winners at the annual Academy Awards Ceremony.
